Severe complex deformities of the forefoot in elderly patients with no rheumatoid arthritis result pronounced decrease quality life, chronic pain, reduced mobility, failure to get shoes for everyday use, exacerbation concomitant somatic diseases. The use conventional joint preservation techniques such often leads deformity relapse, persistent and need revision surgery that is impossible due worsening patients' general status local functional status. study was aimed improve surgical outcomes who had severe deformities. prospective cohort involved allocation retrospective group comparison 65 carried out 2016–2019. results obtained before after were assessed using FFI, AOFAS Hallux, Lesser Toes scores. Maryland scores used assess during postoperative period. revealed significant differences treatment based on Hallux (p = 0.0001), FFI 0.0001) In view specific nature, radical do not ensure may be considered as effective predictable methods correction at reducing rate surgeries. These represent a one-step method life patients.
